From what I understand of John MacArthur (and what I have heard on his radio message) MacArthur does not believe that Divine Miracles and Gifts of the Holy Spirit are applicable in our times as during the times of Jesus.

Is this true? If so, MacArthur not only believes in "limited Atonement" but also believes in limiting the Power of God's Holy Spirit by denying God's ability to be the same yesterday, today and forever.

If it is true, MacArthur (and other similar-type preachers) are bordering very close to committing the unpardonable sin of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God.

Hi Starman,
Yes your correct, like most of Evangelicalism, Johnny Mac is a cessationist.
Not that we put God in a box, or that he cant operate out side of the norm, but that certain gifts have ended and that they are not normatitive for today.
We believe that they were given just for validation of the Christian message to the first century, and that they will resume at the very end.
