Let's take a look at the propagan...er, "facts" presented in the OP picture:

1. "Longest Running Wars in US History"
Vietnam War: Date 1 November 1955–30 April 1975 (19.5 years) (although US military involvement didn't start escalating until about 1963; still ~12 years in Vietnam
Iraq War: 20 March 2003 – 15 December 2011 (8.5 years)

2. "Stood idly by as New Orleans was devastated"
This is an odd statement...was Bush supposed to be on the ground in NOLA during the hurricane? Was he supposed to deploy troops before the hurricane (and put them in harm's way) and supposedly do something to prevent the devastation? Its funny that the Mayor of NOLA and the Governor of Louisiana share no responsibility for the aftermath and the lack of a effective emergency/contingency plan to prevent the citizens for being placed in harms way in the first place.

3. "Ignored evidence warning of 9/11-style attacks"
Ah yes, the much discussed presidential briefing with a generalized warning about bin Laden wanting to use aircraft to attack. There were no specifics to act upon, and with thousands of airplanes in the air and thousands of "targets" it would have been impossible to implement an effective plan on such a generalized warning. That's like warning you that someday, a man wearing black shoes, is going to come up to you and kick you. How do you pay attention to such a warning and protect yourself? How many men do you see wearing black shoes in any given day? Do you preemptively kick each man you encounter wearing black shoes?

On Sept 10, I wonder how many people would have summarily dismissed the idea of 4 airliners being simultaneously hijacked and used as missiles. I'd bet a few would have thought it theoretically possible, but I'd be willing to bet the majority of people could not have conceived such a scenario. Not so much on Sept 12.

4. "Lies, not evidence[,] justified war"
So the dumbest President ever was able to dupe all the smart liberals in Congress and the UN, as well as the leaders of other countries to expend money, manpower, and other efforts to engage in war? Do the members of Congress have no responsibility in vetting the intelligence?

5. "Didn't get bin Laden"
...neither did Clinton...

6. "Oversaw worst economy in 80 years"
The recession started in December, 2007. So the economic downturn started under Bush's watch. History shows that since the Great Depression, recessions in America have lasted an average of 10 months, with the longest previously lasting 16 months. What role did Obama have in the downturn? As a US Senator, he was an active participant in running the government. As president, Obama wanted the job to get the economy back on track and has spent trillions in an effort to do that. Virtually everything he's done hasn't helped or has been a total bust.

7. "Inadequately armored humvees"
Really? That's like blaming the President because the IRS didn't have the correct type of computers. The Army (and other branches) make funding requests and prioritize their needs. The army wasn't anticipating the number of IED attacks when the war started in 2003. By the end of 2004, they had requested about 10K armored humvees. It's not like they can make that many overnight. Could the Army have anticipated the need? Sure, but that's the Army's responsibility to ensure the proper equipment, not the President: past, present, or future.

8. "Abu Ghraib"
Really, again? A couple of Army personnel act like idiots and get caught and somehow this is the responsibility of the President? I suppose the President is directly responsible for the actions of every single member of the armed forces?

A Hummve is a 5/4 Ton Pickup Truck not an APC

but Islamist just piled up more explosives to blow those up as well

:killingme

that would me like blaming the Police Dept. for not having IED Proof Patrol Cars

Given Obama has, basically, continued along the same course Bush set, huge increase in government scope, power and cost, and strong moves towards a more centralized economy (too big to fail) the question then becomes; Isn't Obama, in practice, a Republican?

Yup, Dem's are just Rep. x10 for bad policy, so why vote for even worst things.

"another Republican, yeah?

I was on the fence, but this compelling graphic has helped me make up my mind...

I'm not going to vote for George Bush on November 6th.
