...I ain't much of a wine drinker. My baby sister is. To put in mildly. :lol:
So, when it's on me to bring the wine, I always try to get something good, read the ratings, consider the meal, ask the people at the store, fellow shoppers.
So, 4 bottles and $100 later, she was impressed. A Pinot Noir, a Malbec, a merlot, a cab, all high 80's, low 90's on the little "buy me!' score sheets and she knows them all;
"Oh! This is a good one! So is this! And this!" :diva:
In any event, all that is prologue to the double bass kit in my head this morning. Good gawd. I had a splash of each but, no more than two full glasses, total. We just don't drink wine. It was all absolutely delicious but, damn, this is brutal!
