My tomato plants. Occuring right at the top on a couple of them.
I don't believe it's nitrogen deficiency because that occurs on the lower leaves & curls them.

Pretty localized. I wonder if it has something odd to do with the stake?

Strange. Looks like something got sprayed on them. I've had leaves turn yellow at the bottom, but putting some bone meal in the hole when I plant tomatoes cured that problem. I've never seen them turn yellow in the middle like that.

Pretty localized. I wonder if it has something odd to do with the stake?I have 22 plants. 8 have metal cages the rest stakes. Only about 3 plants are showing this and 2 of them are in cages.

Are they planted anywhere near a black walnut tree? That's a big no-no.

Direct result of someone who knows nothing about growing plants, trying to grow plants.
 I do remember seeing that before, but it's been too long for me to remember what it was. If there is a Cooperative Extension down here, give them a call/email.

I have 22 plants.
You are going to have a $hit load of tomatoes.
What do you plan on doing with all of them?

Hard to tell without a closer look....early blight?
See if something here looks close to what you have...

What's the reasoning/symptons? I have a black walnut, but it is 25 yards from my plants.

Maybe it's from peeing on them too much Are you trying to make yellow tomatoes the same way you would yellow snow? :buddies:

The Friday Nighters would like to make sure of this - can you bring some one night after you make it?!
OR... just the recipe, please.

I have no recipe. I make it the old fashioned way by throwing everything together.

Wow Baja lots of good looking plants. Great job :yay:Thanks! I planted a lot more because the soil has a lot of gravel and plants in prior years haven't produced as well as they could have.
I did add about 800lbs of topsoil this year (which isn't much) so I'm hoping for a little better yield.

They definitely look good. What you are doing is working :yay:
We had the same issue w/ our garden last year and did the same thing as you added some more top soil. Hopefully that helps. Last year our tomatoes never got bigger or turned red on the plants.

Preparing for the impending zombie apocalypse??? You're soon to be self-sufficient!
I wanted to do a big garden this year, but I've been away so much it would have been fruitless (pun intended...).

:lmao: No kidding!
I gave a few plants to my GF this weekend and counted what we had left... 46 tomato plants. I am going to be pissed if none of them produce :burning:
My radishes are doing great though...too bad I hate radishes
