Roughly one out of every three babies in the United States don’t get the dad. For black children in, say, Maryland and Virginia, 60 percent live in fatherless homes. In the District, it’s 80 percent.

I love this response in the opinions at the end of the article...:yay:

"Seems to me we treat women as victims. We should hold women accountable for the choices they make. If you have a baby by a dude with no job don't come in the court room cryin to the judge for child support. Shoulda slept with the nerdy guy with the college degree."

Yeah, that was a good comment. Here's another one I loved that I 100% agree with.

"Welfare as it was initially introduced was to provide temporary assistance to the needy. not to be a generational curse on the lazy. if you provide lazy people with a means to be lazy and still fill their bellies and they will do just that. they will then teach their children to also be lazy".

That's what most of them do, they get paid to do absolutely nothing but pop out kids their whole life. It's a career, a family business. Generation after generation of losers. No self respect.

And when sh!t hits the fan, and they lose those entitlements, we all better be prepared for civil war.

Does anyone here think this is going to change?

It can change, but probably isn't likely. Lazy people have always been present in every society.

It is the damn everybody else - me me me mentality. At certain points, it is required that you look out for yourself and your own, but do that 100% of the time, 365 days a year....

Nope. :coffee: There is a brand new generation that is being born everyday that will continue the cycle.

This is only the case if the rest of us sit around and do nothing about it. Stop electing officials whose sole M.O. is to hand out "freebies" to those unwilling to work for anything. Stop coddling and enabling those whose sole M.O. is to take those handouts. And above all, stop blaming everyone else for society's problems. Get involved in your community and stop ignoring or rewarding bad behavior in your own homes and in the schools. It's up to each one of us to break the cycle.

Personally, I would love to see my tax dollars go for abortions and sterilization of both irresponsible baby mommys and daddys.

That's why I said WILL it change. Of course it CAN but it won't. Most people are inherently lazy and this administration is trying to make them lazier.
