Yes, it's deleted now but I see dead things. :jet:
Why did you all land on her? Cleaning lady is paid to do a job. She certainly has no call to be texting Summer and raising hell about having to do the job she's paid for. If I were Summer's folks, I'd fire the cleaning lady the second I got back home and find one that isn't so combative.
And why is Summer spoiled because her folks have a cleaning lady who is paid to clean bedrooms and perhaps make beds? Cleaning ladies need employment and if you make people feel bad about employing them, then they will be....unemployed. I think we have enough unemployment in this country without trying to put cleaning ladies out of business.
Just trying to understand the pack mentality and social dynamic....

My reaction was based on sumtime's comment that the cleaning lady said she wasn't getting paid to do the mother's room. There are folks who pay their cleaning service specifically based on what they want them to do so it very well could be that sumtime's mother really did make arrangements to pay the cleaning lady less because she didn't want to have to pay for a room that wasn't going to be used. Secondly, we got the entire context of the conversation that transpired from the teen... that leads me to believe we did not get the whole story and so I still side with the cleaning lady because I'll betchur bippy the cleaning lady wasn't just bent because the extra bed wasn't made...

Why would the cleaning lady, hired by the MOM, have the teen daughters cell phone number was my question? And why were they texting?

secon kwilla's motion, we have had people come in and clean, there job wasn't to pick up, it was to do the CLEANING, not so much the routine stuff but to really clean. We expected our children (teens) to have picked up their rooms, clothing off the floor, towels hung etc. We vacumed and all but when you are working you don't do a thorough job dusting, scrubbing toilets and tubes, mopping floors etc.
Our standing orders were if the room wasn't picked up, don't clean it. We paid by the hour. It gave us time to work on other projects on the weekends.

I’m not making any assumptions about SummerTime here, but it’s my experience that if people know someone else is going to clean up after them, they will suddenly become complete slobs.

Well, actually thought about this a little bit.
IF we had a cleaning lady we wouldn't just stop cleaning the house. We'd still make our beds, pick up our clothes, wash dishes etc.. etc..
I have a feeling (and as someone said 100% speculation) her parent(s) are the same way. The cleaning lady comes in and touches up and does the tasks that need to be done, while Mom generally keeps the house clean.
From the sound of the OP it sounded like she was living in Mom's room, and doing absolutely nothing as far as picking up after herself (she has a CLAEANING lady to do it).. I mean, how else would she have known the daughter was sleeping in her Mom's room if she was making her bed and picking up after herself?
I would also assume that the cleaning lady had standards and seeing a mess, even though outside of her responsibility, cleaned it up, made the beds etc.. etc..
But I need to see pictures, and find out if she's chubby to pass final judgement.
