So I'm looking at a house in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates, probably to live in for a bit, but ultimately as an investment (flip). How are both the county and the HOA as far as doing work on a house? I won't be building any additions, but it is a rehab and will need some work (siding/windows/doors outside, flooring/walls/paint inside). I will get permits for the major stuff (I plan to add a bathroom), but I don't plan on calling the county and HOA every time I want to plant a bush or put in a new light bulb. Should I expect folks driving around banging on my door trying to hit me with some violation of something? Are they reasonable to deal with? Are there particular people I should ask to work with if I need a permit or get crap from someone? The house is at the end of a small street (only 3 houses on the street). I haven't met the neighbors, but they seem laid back from what I can tell. The house is not in a critical area.
Thanks!
