Anyone know what kind of squash this is? Its about 10" long 5 inches dia. Its growing wild from compost dirt. The flesh is white.

Looks like one that has been grown to close to cucumbers, And has cross breeded.

It looks like a succhinni that has matured, hence the lighter color. Looks like it is exposed to the sun and that would contribute to the lighter color.

Found this doing an image search...maybe a Kuta Squash?
Kuta squash varieties are most often eaten - Media (1 of 1) Kutas are edible, whether young or more (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/object/article?f=/c/a/2010/09/03/HOVS1F5DQ9.DTL)

It seems that ours is some type of mutant spaghetti squash. The insides are like a spaghetti squash, but they start off light green and turn dark green instead of yellow like most spaghetti squash.
