Pelosi says House panel’s contempt citation of Holder linked to GOP efforts to suppress vote - Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/pelosi-says-house-panels-contempt-citation-of-holder-linked-to-gop-efforts-to-suppress-vote/2012/06/21/gJQA5Y0usV_story.html)

A Republican-run House committee’s vote to hold the attorney general in contempt of Congress is part of GOP efforts to suppress votes in the upcoming elections, the top House Democrat said Thursday.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder was “a shameful display of an abuse of power” by House Republicans. She said it was not a coincidence that Holder is the government official in charge of preventing voter suppression and enforcing civil liberties.

“These very same people who are holding him in contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote” that also involves big donors who are anonymously contributing large sums of money to GOP candidates and causes, she said.

I never understood to this day why Pelosi was ever elected to any office, or why she came to hold so much power in our government. She is an idiot!

She is elected by idiots.

California was the original ineptocracy.
Ineptocracy

(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Why would you expect anything less from this imbecil?

"We, uh, have to pass this bill so we can see what's in it..."

She ranks second out of the top 3 most idiotic people in the country:

Obama voters
Pelosi
The guy who married Joy Behar...

I think Pelosi should have been locked up years ago for crime against the United States, by trying to ruin the entire country like California.

That is funny you should say that about Joy Behar; that poor man; he is not only an idiot but doomed to listen to her ridiculous and humorless quips until the day that they part. I can't even bring myself to listen to her for 1 second! And, someone should tell Joy she is not important. The video is commentary about Behar wanting Romney's houses to burn down. (Beware, the volume is loud)

Pelosi: Elected and re-elected by her constituents - homosexuals, freaks, druggies, greenie environmentalists, addicted abusers, in your face nudists, etc. They vote her in.

Oh, along with the botox industry.

We get what we get because of who we are wherever.

What a country!

Lock & load, Amerika! Make sure to aim at the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

What a multi-ringed circus that is.

It's even sadder when you factor in something like:

Kids and I are watching Obama's announcement the other day about the illegal kids getting work permits. Without even missing a beat in the middle of a computer game, my 12 yr old son pipes up with "Yeah let's screw up the economy EVEN MORE!"

I know I posted this before but I can't help going back to this. I always wonder about people that are old enough to be my parents (I'm 35) and some of the comments they make.

Severa - Pelosi could be your Grandmother - that's how old she is. I'm sure she participated in the summers of love in 1967-68-69-70- and loved every minute of it.

You forgot to mention that Pelosi is one of those rich 1%er liberals cheering on the OWS.
Between Kerry, Edwards and Pelosi, that are millions.
