If I lived in Pascagoula, MS, I'd be concerned. Since i don't, I'm not.

I really hope this storm doesn't head up to you guys, it is moving so slow. I woke up to pouring rain at 5 am this morning and it has been coming down steady, non stop all day. The storm looks like it's going to make landfall in FL on Monday night, I was really hoping it would head west. So glad I don't live in a flood area, but have plenty to drive through to go just about anywhere.

The projection shows Debby hanging over Florida THE ENTIRE WEEK before it goes into the Atlantic and heads north. That's going to be a ton of rain...:dead:

Our total rainfall at midnight last night was 12 inches in 24 hours and more on the way. It's ugly in the Sunshine State right now.

This storm is moving so slow. I just saw on TV that we'll be feeling the effects of this storm until Friday. The wind has really picked up, thankfully no rain right now. Don't think I've ever seen anything like this. We are in the extreme threat area. Should be interesting.

I was born and raised in New New Orleans. Went through Betsy and Camille, and numerous others. That much rain is really bad, and I hope y'all will come out ok. Thinking of you.
Edit: didn't mean New New Orleans. It has been the same old New Orleans for 300 years!

I was in New Orleans during a couple of bad thunderstorms, they were horrible! I can't even imagine how a hurricane would be. We rode from NO to FL on a motorcycle and actually ended up stopping in MS because the storms were so bad. Won't do NO on a bike ever again.

Most of those are from the Tampa area which is south of the storm, I'm about 80 miles north of Tampa, right where most of the action is going to be tomorrow.
Thanks DoWhat. Got plenty of flotation devices.:killingme

I really don't know your situation with the flooding, but just be sure your attic is accessible. I hate these storms. If we get one up here, more of our trees will fall, and we just got a new roof from Irene. But, tree companies want 10,000 dollars to take down our possible threatening trees. Just can't spend that. But, then again, there is nothing we can do about Maw Nature. Praying for you.

I live on a hill, 12 inches of rain yesterday and all I had to do was pull the overflow plug in the pool and turn the drain on on the hot tub. So far so good. My biggest concern is the wind. I don't want to lose my new roof.
