I just finished my final paper for my English class (straight A's, btw :diva:).
Anyone who needs an English or Lit class at CSM Leonardtown, I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Wilkins. He is the most awesomest instructor ever and his class has been a complete pleasure. He seems to be very interested in his students and actually pays attention to their work - honestly, if I had to read all those essays and critique them I'd open a vein. I'm going to miss his class.
So anyway, in a couple of days when the semester is officially over I'll have 7 credits toward my degree. :yahoo:

Congrats! You should be proud, I know for a fact those English classes are tough.
I start my classes back up in August, sounds like we're in the same boat. I didn't do summer classes, had too much going on. Looking forward to going back though.

Congrats! That's super. I'm glad you liked the class.
BTW, you're already smart but it never hurts to have a piece of paper saying that you're smart. So, keep rolling with it.

You GO Girl! It's not easy, but it sure the He!! is worth it. I had a Love/Hate relationship with College, but when a semester ended, after about two weeks, I missed going, and looked forward to getting back. After all is said & done, it's really not that bad. I am proud of you. Not that that means much, coming from someone you don't know, but the mind is a great tool, that should be used.!! I took College more seriously in my later years, than I did the first time around. The first time around, my Parents paid for it, the second time...I flit the Bill, so that's probably the reason why.

Congrats, vrai! School is so much easier when we are older. It should be the standard that we all do continuing education in our middle years. Hope you make the Dean's List!

Congrats on the great grade in English!!! :yahoo: Statistics shouldn't be a problem for you!! At least, I don't remember it being a problem when I took it 30 years or so ago!! You will definitely have a different take on statistics presented in the news, magazines, etc. after you're done!!

I dreaded starting my Algebra class but it was actually fun. Walked out with a B, which is something like a miracle. I've become a big fan of 6-week courses. Buckle down and get it over with.

Pre-calc was like trying to run through waist deep water, for me. A lot of work to feel like I wasn't getting anywhere. Calc 1 was fun. I had Michelle Bell. Great teacher.
That's how I feel about the 6 weeks courses....just get it over with. This one will be in La plata......not looking forward to the drive.
