The 2016 buzz about the Democratic presidential race has been dominated by two names: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. But there is a growing expectation that Vice President Joe Biden will jump in, especially if his boss wins reelection in November.

Biden’s candidacy had been dismissed by some because he would be the oldest-ever person elected president at age 74, five years older than Ronald Reagan who currently holds that record.

But associates and allies tell Secrets that Biden has remarkably become more energetic and engaged as veep. One even noted that he appears younger than when he was elected in 2008.

If Obama is re-elected he will replace Biden as VP. Which would be a shame because I love me some Uncle Joe.

Unless he chooses to run with someone else before November, I don't think he can legally do anything about it. As far as I know, the VP is legally elected by the people (or technically chosen by the electors). Unlike the President's Cabinet, he does not serve at the President's pleasure.

Biden will step down due to "health reasons" or to "spend more time with his family". The party will make sure of that.

Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving and perhaps the only candid politician in recent history. Which would you rather have: Biden's honesty, which the media describes as "gaffes", or more of Obama's lies and bull####?

I don't see how any scenario - quitting the ticket or otherwise resigning - will help him run in 2016 under any circumstances.

However, I suspect an Obama/Clinton ticket might be hard to beat, except that :

1. I find it hard to believe Hillary would be willing to once again play second fiddle to Barack for another four years, while being relegated to pointless VP duties and
2. I don't see Obama sleeping well at night knowing the only thing preventing Hillary - and Bill - from retaking the Presidency is his still beating heart.

Biden will not run for Prez in 2016.

I agree with both. Hillary has been wasted - use either definition - in her SecState gig. Whatever else she is, she's smart and it probably pisses her off that the stupid racist Democratic party anointed that fool Obama instead of her. She deserved their support, not him. She worked her ass off and sucked it up for all those years with Willie Jeff, and all Obama did was show up and be black with clean fingernails.

Biden could never win.
the right sees him for what he is,, and idiot, a very entertaining one, but still.

The left on the other hand will have to refer to to him as the old white guy and refuse to vote for him based soley on his age.

If my 2012 choices were Romney or Biden, I would pick Biden without hesitation.

I dont like either one, but I am going for Romney just because Im afraid that Biden will be just as socialist as obama.
Not that Romney is not a socialist light in his own rights.

What we need is a cross between Eisenhower and Regan.

The SecState job was a leash. I am surprised she accepted it. Most of the major moments in the Obama presidency where the Secretary of State would have been employed, Obama sent someone else.

If she said she's tired of politics, I can believe it.

Price of admission is too high for the enjoyment recieved watching obama lie and sidestep.
