DO NOT VISIT THEBAYNET.COM website.

We were forced to disconnect 11 ATC users from the RDTE network. I was told by CND each system was infected with the "rootkit" virus and the only fix was to remove from the network immediately and re-image the computer. Each user was able to save data but will be off the network for a few days while the reimage is completed. The infection was from "thebaynet.com" so I recommend you do not visit this site as it has a history of spreading viruses. This is the second time thebaynet.com has spread virus to some of our systems.

I'm done with them... will never visit their site again. Good thing we have another local news site to go to.

Is this from the same group that warned folks off of here a month or two back?

I personally was on on my home PC back at that timeframe and my AVG protector alerted when I visited the baynet site and told me it had blocked something bad. So yes they were passing something bad back then.
