U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh has approved Apple's request for a preliminary injunction in the U.S. against Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Apple filed a motion for a preliminary injunction in May 2012, claiming Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 infringes on an iPad-related patent. Apple has also filed a similar motion against Samsung's Galaxy S III in June.

Sounds like Apple wants the monopoly.

Only effects the older model and not the newest version. This according to CNN in the same link. And agree, Apple does not like their cart shaken...

What irritates me so much is how Apple has no problem using prior ideas and claiming them as their own innovative inventions and getting a patent on them. Many of the things Apple has been going after Android for as patent infringement was around long before the iPhone but Apple used our poor patent system to claim ownership.
Apple makes good products but their business practices (and lack of customization of their products) will always ensure they never receive a dime of my money.
