I'm sure. This is our first home and have never had to deal with things like this. We have a tin roof and I need an estimate to see if its worth paying out of pocket. I hope everyone faired well.

Anyone with info about Roofs by George or Stevenson Roofing Contractors? I have also contacted Gass Remodeling.

I don't know if he does tin roofs though. I can't imagine having a tin roof now a days, and didn't realize folks still have them. My mom has tin on her storage building, but not her house.

Its estimated to be about 10 yrs old. Its probably some type of metal but we just say tin.

You need to call Bob Green Siding, 301-884-5477. They do both roofs and gutter work. They are local and have been around for over 25 years or something. They are located in Mechanicsville at the corner of Rt 236 and Rt 5. They put on our siding a few years back. Best service, price and overall great to deal with. I am sure the gutter and roofing work would be the same. Good luck!

I had one guy come out, still waiting on his estimate. From what he says, there's no damage as far as holes, only dents. He said personally he'd leave it only because they will not be able to match the color of our roof due to fading. I for one, do not want a two-toned roof :ohwell:
