I am fairly new to Southern Maryland, having lived between here and P.G. County. I went to my first firework show in SOMD last year. It was at St. Mary's College. I was wondering if any one knew definitely if they would be doing fireworks this year on the Fourth of July? I would really like to avoid going over the bridge to Solomon's because I really do not want to get stuck on the top of that bridge with several members of my family who are terrified of it.

Not on the fourth, they'll be done the 6th.

Don't let it stop you from coming down. From what I've heard, it's going to be yet another spectacular fireworks display.
