Oh yeah, I almost forgot, or if you want to go fishing or crabbing at the Leonardtown Wharf. Does anybody know why they have "No Fishing or Crabbing" signs there? Seems kind of ridiculous, I took the grandkids fishing there last year, I dont remember seeing any signs then.:oldman:

You wanna know why? Because idiots decided to be stupid and were doing things that destroyed the property such as cutting bait on the benches and such. There is no manpower to stop people from being stupid so everybody has to pay the price.

Same main reason we no longer have a LVFD carnival... idiots decided to treat each and every night as if it were they're own special episode of "COPS: Gangbanger Style". It was just too expensive to hold something that was supposed to be a fundraiser and ended up costing money.

There are always people who don't give a crap about being stupid and ruining it for everybody else.

I guess thats what it was. I did see people using benches for cutting bait. I took the granddog for a walk down there yesterday morning and there was trash on boardwalk and on the picnic area. Plenty of trash cans around, dont understand why people cant use them. And yes, before anybody asks, I do pick up after my granddog and deposit it in the appropriate receptacle.
Damn shame it takes just a few to screw it up for everybody else.
