Don't know how far you want to go, but I am seeing Dr Barletta in Clinton. Hes in the building next to Southern Md Hospital. I was going to The Spine Center in Waldorf, but didn't care for them.

Depends on what is wrong with your back.

Have you tried a chiropractor?

"Back at your best" in Wildewood shopping center; I had a good experience working with them. The Doc set my back straight. =)

I haven't needed to go back since ;-)

don't know what area you live in, but my husband and I use Dr. Griffith in Pr Fred/Dunkirk.

Thanks for the input. Ideally I was looking for a local SM/CH/Calvert and then for a possible second if my problems are more serious. Thanks for the input.

My other half has had severe back problems for years. had 5 surgeries with a doctor named Selyah in PG, then had his 6th back surgery two years ago with a new doctor. He recommends Dr. Beck first, and then if you need surgery, Dr. Voyadzis at Calvert. Dr. Jean-Marc Voyadzis, MD, Neurosurgery, Prince Frederick, MD (http://www.calverthospital.org/body.cfm?id=13&action=detail&ref=326)

He was an incredible surgeon. Best of luck to you~

My wife is seeing Dr. Voyadzis. Her brother designs spinal implants/hardware and says that Voyadzis is one of the best in the country.

Sitting in their office as I type this - all of the doctors here are professors at Georgetown University - just opened this satellite office in the new medical building next door to the hospital. I have heard nothing but spectacular things about all of them. I am seeing Dr. Abbott today - and I have had 3 back surgeries - the last one done by Griffith and it was a 3-level fusion with screws and rods.
