My moms 75th bday is soon and all us kids would like to take her on a dinner cruise of somesort...anywhere from Solomons to Baltimore (she lives in annapolis). Any one know of any cool dinner excursions?

Spirit Cruises are nice. I'd gone on ones out of Washington and Baltimore with no complaints:

Done this one, good food, but they did put it away pretty fast too. I wanted some more fish, the dude said more is coming, I looked up later and they were putting the food away. DJ and dancing, bit of comedy, stay below or go up to the top deck for better viewing. Bar never closed though.

Just a word of warning about the cruise though:

I made the mistake of wearing a dress with a loose skirt (nothing short or crazy) that, when we made our way up to the top deck to enjoy the sights, got caught up in the in strong breeze and exposed my my goodies to the Captain. :faint:

I know an older couple in Baltimore and they are around her age. They took an Alaskan Cruise. Part of the cruise is a Train ride through the remote areas of Alaska where the wildlife can be seen from the train.
They have sleeper cars and dining cars...
The train then meets up with a cruise ship to bring them home....

Just something else that you might look into..
It's the only cruise I really had any interest in trying but with work and other obligations, have not taken the time to seriously look into going on one...
