Be nice now... no smart comments... I'm serious.

I am getting a couple of chickens and need to know where I can easily purchase some supplies, a small amount of feed and a couple bales of hay/straw.

Thanks!

Go to the Henyard in Loveville. Also known as Stauffers Feed Store. Or Southern States in Charlotte Hall. Or Tractor Supply.

I keep hearing about this "Henyard" but I thought it was at the Tractor Supply place just North of Leonardtown... but the Tractor Supply Store isn't there anymore. So is this "henyard" different?

So with Stauffers... do I just drive in and knock?

Stauffer's Feed Mill in Loveville. It used to be known as the Hen Yard, back when it was a chicken operation many years ago.

It is on the northbound side of Rt 5 directly across the street from The Third Base convenience store/gas station. It is the place with all the grain elevators.

They will take good care of you.

Just to clarify Stauffer's Feed Mill is Mennonite owned, and the hours are M-F 7am - 6pm and Saturday 7am - 4pm, and as mentioned in an earlier post they are closed on Sundays.

They don't sell puppies, do they? I know, it's a terrible thing to ask, but...
