I have a huge Paulownia tree being cut down. I heard the wood can be used wood carvers. Is there a market to sell it? How big should I have them cut it up.

I also have a large tree that needs to go. Have posted here a few times but have had no luck in finding someone who wants it. You can google the tree and growers and you'll get a list for Maryland, some will buy the wood, but it depends on how much you have. If you find someone interested, please tell them to post here or respond to me, otherwise mine will be turned into firewood shortly. They're horribly destructive trees.
Good luck!

Let me guess: Small enough to hold in your hand while you whittle it into kindling?

I have heard the wood from that tree is in demand in Japan. Contact an Exotic Woods dealer. There is one right off rte 50 before the Bay Bridge.
