Yup, very good people. When there, you actually work with a therapist. You don't get handed off to a tech like so many other places.

Trolls are those who offer one sentence, non-sensical comments. So, you just self identifed yourself. Bring something to the table.......or go home.

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

Ultimate is one of those words so misused - it really just means, final, last, as in "ultimate sacrifice" or "ultimate decision". When you watch the ultimate episode, you're watching the series finale. There ain't no more.

(Oddly, "penultimate", which just means "next to last", is misused even more).

So to me, ultimate therapy means something like - embalming.

My Merriam-Webster dictionary disagrees with you on ultimate, and confirms your definition of penultimate.

REALLY? REALLY???

All i wanted to know is if anyone had been there and their thoughts. Not a lecture on the origins of the word. :1bdz:

It is so annoying that you are double posting. It is as if you can't wait long enough to get replies to your original post so you post it again.

Please stop!!!!

Ahh. Maybe you should have capitalized it. So it is a place. Lower case suggested it was a technique.

Carry on.

Dunno. It doesn't make sense that penultimate means next to last, but ultimate by itself does NOT mean last.

But M-W also carries the popularly used definition of words. If people used the word "hello" to mean a pack of cigs, then that's what it would say in M-W.

Normally, that's how word changes come about. My aversion to that is because some word usage is a fad, and reverts to normal or simply passes out of popular use.

I have used them twice over the last few years for different problems and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Here's two entries under Ultimate: The best or most extreme of it's kind, or,: arrived at as the last resort.

Doesn't seem very fad-ish.

Since you have received very little HELPFUL information, I'll pop on in here. I've been seeing them for several weeks, twice a week, for injuries related to a car accident. I had a concussion (which the neurologist dismissed as "impossible" and told me that I made up the accident...but that's a different story) so I was rather nervous about seeking physical therapy since the "cure" for concussions is rest. Well the ladies at Ultimate Therapy were WONDERFUL. They did some "Cranio-Sacral" techniques the first time in which I just laid there the first time and they gently manipulated my head and neck (almost like a chiropractor only a LOT more gentle) and then applied some massage techniques.

A few visits later I started doing some simple exercises and I SWEAR my headaches went away. I can move easier, and do more things without getting tired. They gave me some simple exercises/stretches to do at home to help with the pain. Thus far, they have helped me so much, but you have to be willing to work with them in your therapy. Hope that helps! (oh my accident was almost head on and I was knocked out, but no serious injuries...but my car was totaled...not much left of the front engine area and the accident happened in May....and I was unable to drive for a month if that gives you any indications of my injuries....)
