Congratulations to the PELTP Session 36 on graduating tonight. Calvert, Charles and St Mary's now have 15 new Deputies/Officers ensuring the safety of our lives, families, communities and streets. 6 long months of training and they are now living their dreams. Speed cameras are never set up where they're really needed, which is not on the main thoroughfares, but on the side streets and residential areas.

I was fortunate enough to attend the graduation ceremony, very impressive. I didn’t know the full scope of the 6 months of training until they showed the video at the end of the night of some of the training they went through. Congratulations to the 15 new deputies.:buddies: The key note speaker was Jerry Parr, the Secret Service agent credited with saving President Regan’s life after the assassination attempt in 1981. As he retold the story of that day you could have heard a pin drop in the auditorium.:patriot:
