President Obama's campaign spent $58 million in June, chiefly in TV advertising assailing his GOP rival's business record and personal finances. Romney spent less, but raised more than Obama. - LATimes.com (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-campaign-money-20120721,0,6113370.story)

President Obama (http://www.latimes.com/topic/politics/government/barack-obama-PEPLT007408.topic)'s sharp turn to the offensive against GOP (http://www.latimes.com/topic/politics/parties-movements/republican-party-ORGOV0000004.topic) challenger Mitt Romney (http://www.latimes.com/topic/politics/government/mitt-romney-PEPLT007376.topic) last month came at a steep cost: nearly $58 million.

That's how much the president's reelection campaign burned through in June as it pounded Romney's business record and personal finances; its relentless television campaign alone cost $38 million, according to campaign finance reports filed Friday with the Federal Election Commission.

The expensive barrage came even as Romney and his affiliated party committees outraised Obama and his Democratic Party (http://www.latimes.com/topic/politics/parties-movements/democratic-party-ORGOV0000005.topic) fundraising partners for the second month in the row, $106 million to $70 million.

It's great that Obama's attempt to creat class envy and divide the country is failing.
Becoming wealthy is something people should aspire to not villify
