It is an Obama commercial making fun of the fact that Romney chose to sing a patriotic song at some event... and they then put up words for you to read while he's singing telling you that Bain helped some companies by recommending they send some jobs overseas.

They're doing it wrong :lmao:I never thought about it, but I'll bet you aren't the only one who has flipped the channel only to have Romney in a patriotic setting singing a patriotic song stuck in your head.... Money well spent, huh...:lmao:

I think that commercial is a very poor choice for a campaign. If everyone else is also turning it off, they're never seeing what the Obama campaign folks want them to see. On the other hand, Romney may not be the best singer, but at least he knows the words to America. And, if I remember correctly, being able to sing well isn't one of the qualifications for the job.
It's an Obama commercial that makes Romney stick in everyone's minds.

Oh, you're one of those types that likes to come along and hijack somebody else's thread in an attempt to get your own agenda out there. Got ya'.
You must be very proud about the commercial in question.
even with Bain sending some jobs overseas, they still created more jobs in the states than obama has.
besides whats worse, sending a couple people to work over seas, or borrowing from China to a point that they actually own us?
Some jobs? :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme
Actually, "some jobs" is correct. Now, shall we number the jobs Obongo has sent overseas in just three and a half years. Probably number in the hundreds of thousands at this point.

I had some channel on the other day where that commercial and a Romney commercial constantly played back to back.
I guess growing up in a house where my Dad sang so badly, people would pay money to hear it - and laugh - Romney doesn't sound that bad to me. I do think it's poor campaign material when the only thing you remember is Romney singing.

Actually, I like the commercial for the message of the words. It's a LOT overplayed, but it still highlights a beautiful song.
I seriously doubt that Obama even knows the words to the song.
When obama sang his national Anthem, He did this version of it.
“Oh God of all creation
Bless this our land and nation
Justice be our shield and defender
May we dwell in unity
Peace and liberty
Plenty be found within our borders.
Let one and all arise
With hearts both strong and true
Service be our earnest endeavour
And our homeland of Kenya
Heritage of splendour
Firm may we stand to defend.
Let all with one accord
In common bond united
Build this our nation together
And the glory of Kenya
The fruit of our labour
Fill every heart with thanksgiving.”

I bet he even puts his hand over his heart during the Star Spangled Banner; what a ###!

Sites like FactCheck and Politifact - sites not known for being very cordial to conservatives and Republicans - have largely debunked these claims. In many of the cases claimed, it occurred after he left Bain. In one of them, the company already outsourced work abroad, and Bain actually *decreased* the amount of outsourcing by buying an American company.
But the most often cited example is when Romney vetoed a bill forbidding the state from outsourcing work to overseas call centers. And here's where you have to decide if he did what was best. As governor, he said there was no way to know if by forbidding overseas outsourcing, it didn't mean it would translate into jobs in Massachusetts - but if it was allowed, it would save money. So he vetoed the bill - and the state went ahead and outsourced the call centers.
PolitiFact | Obama ad says Romney outsourced Massachusetts jobs (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/jun/11/barack-obama/obama-ad-says-romney-outsourced-massachusetts-jobs/)
When cast against what the *PRESIDENT* has done regarding sending money overseas, it's chump change. And hypocritical, to put it mildly.

It is so annoying that I have come to despise the person RUNNING the commercial. I believe that in the long run it will backfire on the democrats.
