Actually, it's the County Commisioners who set the proporty tax rate.

Which did not change. The state sets the property value that is taxed..

My bill went up too.

With MOM playing sleight of hand with MD's pension obligations and the like, I fully expect that the county will have to be raising the rate soon enough...and probably by quite a bit.

I just need to hang on a few more years and then I'm outa here.

Mine went up the past 3, went down this year.

Did. Twice in 20 years, in fact. Successful both times.

But right now its about right...so there is nothing to base an appeal on.
