I just love this store. They have so much more stuff than Giant or Shoppers, which are much closer for me but McKay's is worth the few extra miles.

I'm a condiment junkie and tonight I picked up:

Balsamic vinegar ketchup
Black truffle oil
Jerk marinade
Stone-ground mustard
Chipotle BBQ sauce

Plus a bunch of Kind bars, which I am addicted to.

Have you ever looked through the food aisle at Marshalls? they have an unusual selection that changes constantly. Also some very good jams and jellies.

I hope the new McKay's in Charlotte Hall will be just as nice. If they ever get it built..sure will be nice not having to cross 5/235 on the way home.

Tired of the old food and produce at the dirty Food Loin and the old McKay's.

wonder if they will have an entrance on the back road... so people can go to the light? then all they have to do is change the light pattern

Truffle oil makes everything better. I like to make truffle garlic butter and spread it on bread before grilling. A little teeny bit goes a long way for flavor.

Now that I will have to try. Even though I don't care much for garlic toast.

Does anyone know if and when the one in Hollywood will open/reopen? I/We also are condiment junkies, espcially when it comes to Hot Sauces.

I'm at McKays in CH almost every night because I'm such a disorganized shopper, I DO so hope the new one is cleaner when they open, they really do have great condiments and oddities that I just love. I could do without the rolls of paper towels lining the freezer section floor.

Last I saw in the paper was that they were trying to make it some sort of eating establishment.

You have to have atleast 8 different kinds available in 40oz and the Mickeys grenades as well.
