‘For The Past Ten Years Harry Reid’s Been Beating His Wife’: Megyn Kelly Panel Slams Reid for Tax Comments (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/for-the-past-ten-years-harry-reids-been-beating-his-wife-megyn-kelly-panel-slams-reid-for-tax-comments/)

Harry Reid’s attack on Mitt Romney claiming that “for the past ten years, Romney paid no taxes” has gotten a negative reaction from practically everyone in the media who isn’t already a partisan Democrat. Even liberal comedian Jon Stewart blasted Reid as “really, really terrible” on his show last night, and pretended to invoke the ghost of George Romney to call Reid a “two-bit, trash-talking sonofa–” before cutting himself off.

And now that Reid has repeated the charge from the Senate floor, a panel on Megyn Kelly’s “America Live” has fired back with an even more cutting response. Specifically, former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen described Reid’s attack as a thoroughly disingenuous piece of rhetorical sleight-of-hand and to prove his point, jokingly made a similar charge against Reid:

In response to Reid taking to the Senate floor to declare that “the word is out” that Romney avoided taxation for ten years, Thiessen quipped: “The word is out that for the past ten years Harry Reid has been beating his wife. Do I know that? Do I have any proof? No. But the burden of proof is on him to prove that he hasn’t been beating his wife.”

“That’s essentially what Harry Reid just did to Mitt Romney,” Thiessen said.

“What does ‘the word is out’ mean?” he continued. “He admits he doesn’t have any proof. In fact, this is the quote: he said, ‘Do I know that that’s true? Well, I’m not certain. But I don’t think that the burden of proof should be on me, the burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid taxes.’”

Do you have inside information about Hairy Reed being a pedophile rapist? You better get the word out so he can prove he's not!

As many as Barry's buddy and economic advisor Immelt?

And since Romney has not owned or operated any business since the late 90s..perhaps you would kindly explain how it is that Romney can be sending any job anywhere?? :killingme

You know damn good and well that someone who fired someone once rode in a bus that drove past a Romney automobile at some time in the 90's. Therefore, Romney is responsible for everyone who's ever been fired in the United States since the early 1900's. It's on the DU.

Please explain to me why the uproar over Bain advising some companies to transfer jobs overseas?

If the business of Bain is to be invited in by the company to review it, revamp it and make it profitable again... than their primary focus is on what is best for the company and sometimes that meant jobs overseas.

Let us move forward to if Romney becomes president (please, please, please!)... he brings considerable experience on reviewing, revamping and trying to make our country profitable again. His primary focus will be our county. If it is not in the best interest of the country to send more jobs overseas than I seriously doubt he will be sending jobs overseas.

I see his history with Bain as a plus because at least he has experience in what it takes to turn a business around... somthing Obama still has no clue about...

Ask the head of Obama's jobs council. He just did it, so it should be easy for him to explain it.

When the American company that managed to successfully compete in the global marketplace survived and even thrived? Except for all of those, you mean?

Companies like my own..for example.
