Birds of a Feather: Chuck Schumer Backs Reid on Romney Tax Slur, Blames Tea Party for Everything That’s Wrong in D.C. (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/ready-birds-of-a-feather-chuck-schumer-backs-reid-on-romney-tax-slur-blames-tea-party-for-everything-thats-wrong-in-d-c/)

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Friday defended Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) tax slur against Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and attacked Sen. Tom Coburn’s (R-OK) recent defense of the Tea Party.

But let’s start with the New York senator’s defense of Reid, shall we?

Birds of a Feather: Chuck Schumer Backs Reid on Romney Tax Slur, Blames Tea Party for Everything Thats Wrong in D.C.Senators Harry Reid (D-NV) & Chuck Schumer (D-NY)

What did Sen. Schumer have to say to this?

“I like Tom Coburn but, you know, if the Tea Party gains strength, it means two things … number one, the Republican Party will be the minority party for a long period of time,” he said, explaining that the “radicalized far-right” fringe group, if heeded, will lead to the eventual obsolescence of the Republican Party.

Sen. Schumer went on to explain why nothing is getting done in the Democrat-controlled Senate: It’s because of obstructionist Tea Partiers!

“It’ll be like the House of Representatives and McConnell will have as many headaches as [Speaker of the House] John Boehner does. This is not good for the country and it’s certainly not good for the Republican Party but also not where American electorate is at,” he added.

Maybe Romney ought to sue Harry Reid. He can prove he paid his taxes in court, kick Reid's ass and the public still doesn't have to see them (that is, give the Demcrats more stuff to make rumors about).

If Romney really did give McCain's campaign many years of tax returns, why hasn't McCain come forward and announce that Reid is FOS?

Enemy destroying itself and you are warning them? not hardly

I wonder how much of this is hear-say?

This is unrelated, but I believe it describes most of these political 'situations' quite nicely:

Show business and politics shouldn't so related...

It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.

Politicians, Hollyweird and Hookers... All whores in the long run?
