Renewed my driver's license in 25 minutes.
I did mine 2 months ago. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. :yay:

Normally I go to Loveville but I saw on one of the enclosed flyers that they do them at the Courthouse up in Prince Frederick. Went there a few weeks ago and was in and out very quickly.

Allways had good service there. I rather drive an hour to go to the Loveville MVA than dealing with any of the others in the area.

I went there for get an ID for my son for football. We were there about 45 minutes and that was only because they had two stations down. They announced it and apoloigized for the wait time.
I still thought 45 minutes was not bad at all for the DMV though

Too late. I go there instead of the h*llhole in Waldorf.

I prefer going to that one. The Waldorf one takes forever. I watched a pedestrian get hit by a car in the MVA parking lot the other day. The lady was physically ok, but boy was she (understandably) angry. The guy in the car shrugged at her and said "My bad." Then he drove off. Jerk.

I've told this story before but, once I went in to renew my tags, and I could hear Gary Wright's "Dreamweaver" just starting on the radio outside Loveville.
When I got out with my new tags - the song was JUST ending.

Need to go there real soon to get a MD driver's license. Realized a few days ago that my NY license expired 5 months ago......oops! Hubby told me how easy it is there compared to Waldorf, Annapolis, etc. Anything would be an improvement over NY DMV, pack a lunch up there and be prepared to waste hours & hours.

But it's impossible to get a government-issued ID card. Unless, of course, your son is white and your family is rich.

It may be of interest to you that NY does renew drivers licenses per mail if you are out of the state. They do not care whether you ever plan to return to NYS, they just care that money order is in the letter and a valid postal address for the return. There are oddball reasons why a NY drivers license may be worthwhile to keep (in-state tuition, resident discount for deer licenses etc.), so just keep that possibility in mind.
I have lost entire days of my life at NYS DMV offices :bonk:

Ok, well I went to the Tag and Title shop in Prince Frederick...not a good idea, they screwed up my tags and now I have to go to the MVA to get it all fixed. I should have just gone to the MVA directly to begin with but I was going for the convenience factor, nothing is ever easy.
