I am going to DC overnight. I would prefer to take the bus - either 909 from St. Mary's airport or 905 from Charlotte Hall. What is the odds of parking there overnight without incident? Do I pick Charlotte Hall and park at the gas station - or will they have an issue with that? Just park close to Point Lookout Rd? Or would St. Mary's airport be better even though it seems more secluded? Is the risk so high that something bad will happen at either location that I should just take a cab to the St. Mary's airport? Is a cab reliable at 6am? I'm near the Pax base.

Consider parking at the Wildewood Professional Park buildings near the airport and walking down. I used to work there, have left my car there overnight multiple times and never had any problems.

I think you are over thinking this. Don't you have car insurance? Park where it is convenient for you and let the chips fall as they may. We could get a derecho while you are gone and a damn tree could fall on your car in your own driveway.....
