Wow! There are so many unique and different things to do here, I would think you could do many baskets! There's the obvious seafood basket with Old Bay, oyster knife, crab mallet, etc. Then, you could do a "driving tour" type of basket themed around the lighthouses, parks, beaches, etc. You could group them, or focus on specific locations.

Also, there are always antiques; like Apple Basket and Old Cecil's Store. And, of course, there's the obvious PAX River basket with everything "NAVAIR". You have the Amish, plus the "farmer's market" theme with recipes and canning stuff. And how about racing???? Budd's Creek anyone?? There is a limitless supply of ideas. And, don't forget the local restaurants! Menus, coupons, etc.

This area (not just St. Mary's, but Southern Maryland) is a cornucopia of baskets just waiting for you to make them up!!! Good luck with your business!!!

At one time there was a brand of cigarettes called 'Maryland' - it actually had Maryland tobacco in it. I think the cigarettes were only sold in Europe though. Besides, very little tobacco grown in Maryland anymore, so if you do find a pack, don't underprice it!
