I don't know where to turn so I go here for information....I have a Sony DVD surround sound dream system Model # DAV-C770.....I made a boo boo and bought it on e-bay....(new in da box) Got it all hooked up and when the DVD is playing all of a sudden it either freezes or jumps like crazy....I do not have a warranty on this....What I need to know, does anyone know of someone that works on these things....I like it and the sound is OK but I can't watch DVDs....I thought about Circuit City...Or maybe even sending it to Sony, but that would be a hassle.....Any and all suggestions will be appreciated....

Is the DVD player jumping or the sound system? Feel free to call the house Leroy specializes in that stuff. :huggy:

The DVD is locking up sometimes and skips sometimes....It just don't work right.... :dead:

Why pay to have someone do it? If it was new in the box, then it is still under warranty. It may be a hassle to send it back to SONY, but to get something repaired these days, it will cost you more than the original item.
