I figured Eco was building a church from the moment he started playing lumberjack after his episode with charlie and the plane... I was torn between him making the sign of the cross on himself or just trying to spread water across his body as quickly as he could with one hand of water...

The moment I saw Dave it hit me he wasn't real... 'Dave's not here man' and then it hit home when the shrink was like "Dave is a bad influence" the way he said it, it wasn't like "Well, I think he's a bad influence on you" you used Dave's name, which makes me think... are any of you really real? LOL

I have a feeling Desmond ran to the center of the island, the "?" on the map and I have a feeling after Locke gets his map back together (as he's doing), he's going hunting...

the animals may have been a part of some of the testing, and on that map, it mentions a polar bear...

If ya think about it, the whole island is one big test site... all with viewing stations...

Speaking of viewing, I just got a 62" HD television that I was so eager to watch Lost on last night, and the show looked like crap! It looked like most of the actors had green makeup spots on their cheeks and chins! Every other channel and show that I've watched looks fine on the Tv except for Lost. Jack and Kate stumble across an unconscious Michael deep in the jungle. And while Jack is primed and ready for a confrontation with the Others, it is Kate who forces him to deal with the task at hand: Michael needs medical attention and he needs it back at the Hatch.

Speaking of the Hatch, Ana Lucia receives a nasty surprise when she goes into the armory to deliver a bowl of food to a dejected Henry. Only Locke's last-minute intervention is enough to save her life. And while Locke is desperate for answers to his questions, he knows that time with Henry is running out fast.

In FLASHBACK, we see Ana Lucia confronted by her mother -- who's also her captain -- upon returning to the station after a shift. It seems a body has been found in a parking lot. And it just happens to be the same guy who confessed to shooting Ana Lucia. But when Captain Cortez tries to offer her daughter her help, Ana Lucia quits the force and runs away… all the way to Australia.

Turns out she met a guy at the airport; a guy who was running away from his own problems and the two of them forged a dysfunctional partnership. She agreed to go to Australia to "protect him" and he agreed not to ask too many questions. Hard to believe it didn't last long…

Michael is being cared for in the Hatch. He's regained consciousness and the information he presents is startling. He knows where Walt is. And the Others have been lying about their strength. As soon as he is strong enough, Michael is going to return to their camp in force. And he is going to take his son back. The entire camp is activated, caught somewhere between hopeful and terrified at what this all means.

In light of her recent troubles, Ana Lucia is desperate to get her hands on a gun. And when she barters with Sawyer we learn just how far she is willing to go to get what she wants.

Hurley attempts to move his relationship with Libby to the next step and asks her on an honest-to-goodness date. And we can't help feeling happy to see that, even here, good things can happen.

But it's just not that simple now, is it? And this wouldn't be LOST if things ended up happy and hopeful. So, as the episode draws to a close we are taught yet another lesson about the dark side of mankind..and what we are capable of doing when there appears to be no other choice.

Claire will apparently appear in the flashback, although it doesn't look to be a Claire episode. The blacklight (seen in Episode 217) will be part of a story arc in the final four episodes. Eko's brother Yemi appears in flashbacks. Also appearing is Richard Malkin, the psychic who warned Claire about Aaron. Malkin is somehow tied to Eko. Libby and Eko are seen together at the airport. The blacklight map also apparently brings Eko and Locke together again in their diverging views of faith.

I was on the phone with my sis when that commercial popped up... we both had the sound down and caught it with our eye... we were like, "WTF, did I see what I thought I saw?"

That's an interesting thought. It may well be where the story line goes. I thought the psychic actually had a true vision regarding Claire and it scared him. Remember when he gave her money back and hustled her out? Later he wouldn't leave her alone and insisted on that particular flight. I took the drowned daughter as the catalyst for Ecko, starting him on his journey of redemption by passing on the brother's message. Will be interesting to see how they end the season.

I did read that Libby will be back next season in flashbacks to fill in more of her backstory.

This is pretty cool! We've been going through the website and got a message about calling the call center and check the TV ad section. There's no phone number on the website, but checking the DVR commercial there is a phone number shown just below the website: 1-877-HANSORG.

We called that and you can enter extention numbers to talk to different executives. When you hit #2 for Mr. Hanso they have a recording that's made to sound like an unintentionaly recorded conversation where you hear some talking then a woman says loudly "what have you done with him? Who's in charge here?" then the message cuts off. Another message says that the guy isn't here, but if you're calling about the Korean Offshore Project to leave a message. So there's a link to Korea popping up too.

however the episode answered a lot of questions and openned up even more... stupid Lost...

the "?" being the center of the island... what I like is the air tube, that still works, and Locke sent his map into it... if 'The Others' are using a hatch, are they at 'base camp' on the island where the map will end up?

The island is obviously still being used by Hanso and Dharma... how so? The drop shipment of food... so the experiment is still going on... unless the 'Others' were apart of the experiment who fought back against the establishment (One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest much??) and now rule the island...

Henry may of been right about nothing happening when the button is pushed... maybe which then turns my above theory in the correct direction...

and because the Others know the plane crashed and that they are not apart of Dharma, thats why they've allowed them to live for as long as they have... there is no threat... yet...

Looks like next week we'll see either what happened to Michael, or Michael's story of what happened... I'm not interested in him anymore... he shot Ana Lucia AND Libby and let Henry go... to me, he's useless now... he's all about getting his son back, which I understand, but at the risk of murder? there is always another way... to me Michael is spineless and desrves a shot of Herion in the eye...

Perhaps, but I'm happy that they didn't decide to just make the whole setup a psyc. experiment. It's more fun to think that the story goes deeper than that, and that some world-changing technology is being played with.
