Right now, I'm acting as foster till we get her issues straightened out. She was just spayed a couple weeks ago, she's now battling ringworm, and once that is over with, we need to figure out what is going on with her bladder. She's tested negative for UTI, but still has the usual physical symptoms of one.
She's growing on me though, laying on me, sitting on me, standing on me too. Where ever I stop, there she is. This dog has come a long way in just a few weeks.

That is truely why I dont think I could EVER foster dogs... I couldnt handle losing them after I got them well in all. It would be like losing a kid all the time, I just couldnt do it..
I give those of you who do it, and continue to do so mad props though. It definitely takes a special person(s) to foster dogs, or any animal for that matter.

Ask anybody that knows me, and they'll tell you, that unless this dog turns into a mad terror and eats my Harley, I'll wind up signing the papers for her. I'm a sucker with a big soft heart when it comes to dogs.

My other pooch just sits on the mantle, watching from her ceramic resting place I guess. I dunno tho for sure.
I had to put Miss Daisy to sleep last Thanksgiving due to cancer. 'tis ok tho. :huggy:

Great Dane ??
Small (if you can call 120lbs small) "pet quality" Mastiff. Thanks to some minor investigating by one of the vets, she appears to be a Brazillian Mastiff.

Have they thought about spay incontinence or was she exhibiting symptoms before the spay?

She was exhibiting it before, and one thought is that MAYBE she was at the beginning of a "heat cycle" and is just marking her territory. Dunno, but that one makes me laugh. This dog is not marking her territory...not when she wakes me up at 3am to go do it.
Frequent squats when going outside and blood clots in the urine stream, and she seems uneasy, or uncomfortable when squatting...sometimes sits down completely first then eases back up.

I'm considering becoming a Foster for SMAWL....The main thing I worry about is the whole getting SO attached that I won't want to give the dog up!
