My oldest is entering high school this school year. Our road is still on the middle school route list, but did not make the "high school" route list. You would think his location info would transfer from middle school to high school along with all of his other records... :banghead:

I do know for a fact that buses are not required to stop at EVERY house. They are allowed to specify a central stop that is within walking distance of several children and pick them up from there... this may or may not be the case, but it is definately an option to think about.

I don't know if this applies to St. Mary's bus routes but in Calvert, my street is not listed because the bus does not pick up on my street. The kids go a street over to catch the bus. You have to look up the actual street that the kids use as a bus stop.

Elementary school they have to stop at your house. In neighborhoods, most kids will naturally congregate if they live close enough together. But if they didn't want to be social like that, the bus would stop at every driveway.

Call Mrs. Farrell, the school secretary at Dent. She is wonderful. I'm sure that she would love to help you figure out your bus route.
