What Version are you running? I did a search on FireFox User Board and they indicate this problem was fixed in May 31 (that is why I'm wondering what version you are using).
SEE: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Clipboard_not_working

I also found a thread devoted to the copy/paste problem.
SEE: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=405151&postdays=0&postorder=asc&postsperpage=15&highlight=copy+paste&start=0

I can't find any problems relating to font size and color. Maybe the copy/paste fix will take care of that problem as well.

Hope this helps.

I don't use Firefox anymore, but have you changed any font or color settings that may override any default webpage font/color actions?

Noppa! I never change settings. I prefer to see what the developer displays.

Oh sorry. That was meant for the thread starter, fttrsbeerwench.

I just installed Firefox from the website last weekend. I had so much wrong with IE that it was shutting down and i was getting randompop-ups windows, almost liek some one was running a booter program in chat:shrug: My friend said it was just easier to change it.. I've not done anything to the computer but remove cookies as far as I know.

Here are a few "extensions" that are great:

IE Tab - this extension allows you to simulate IE while in FireFox so you can run your Microsoft Updates without loading Microsoft InterNet Explorer.

No Script - this extension lets you know when a site wants to run a script. When you give it permission (there is a bar at the bottom of the window) - it allows it (and remembers if you want). I was surprised at how many different scripts are running on a page.

Launchy Script - Allows you to open links and mailto's with external applications.

If you decide to go to a beta version of 2.0 a number of firefox extensions won't work right away, and some work, then become disabled after automatic upgrades. It shouldn't happen to a full release version. 2.0 is very nice, BTW.

It didn't change anything like that for me.. but on the machines I did update I was unable to bookmark and lost all my saved bookmarks :(

As an example, Adblock didn't work with 2.0 beta 1, then a week later it did. When it upgraded to 2.0 beta 2, adblock didn't work for a day or so. I still have 3 extensions that don't work, but only 1 that I miss much.
