How do I change it so that when I try to save images, it doesnt try to save them as Paint Shop Pro or pmo's or something? I wanna just save them as .gif if they move or .jpg if they dont move.

Is it saving as a GIF or JPG file? If it is, you need to associate it with the application of your choice.

I assume you're using Windows.

I used to be able to save the picture with a file name of 'xxxxx.jpg' and it would save it as a jpeg. :shrug:

Or, there's been times when I wanted to convert a .bmp to a .jpg. So, I open it in paint then save it as a .jpg.

It sounds like she is saving it right, but I think she wants to open the file with a different program when she double clicks it.

When you right click an image use the 'save as' option. It will ask you where to save it to and what to save it as. Is that what you mean?
