Where is the nearest skating rink?

There's one in Leonardtown and one in Calvert (I think).

Is there a more up to date rink besides this one run by the county?

One in Calvert is located at Route 4/Chaneyville Road intersection. It opens and closes so I'd call to make sure it's still open.

We used to go roller skating quite often at the rink in Waldorf before they closed, and we miss it. We tried the ice rink, but it's a big difference from roller skating. The kids and husband did okay, but I was hanging onto that wall the whole time.

Been thinking about trying out the rink in Calvert, I think they have 1-4 hours on Sat and Sun.
