Howard Dean to Jon Stewart: We Won't Impeach Bush (http://editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003379813&imw=Y)
Please reconsider.
Love,
The Republicans
Wouldn't that be a hoot if the US tried to impeach its own President for war crimes? Just like some third-world hellhole, where whoever's got the muscle gets to rule. :yay:

"once again, power is being transferred peacefully, and in the history of world events that, in itself, continues to be a newsworthy story."
I think that is very newsworthy!
Impeach? Now that would be a sad day. There are many in the world that would enjoy that though.

If they impeached Bush, then got rid of Cheney.....What you would be left with is.... Good Morning Madam President (Pelosi).
Surely, even the Dems are not wackey enough to want this.

...no blood for oil? Bush lied, people died? Bush's illegal war? Bush is a Nazi? Dick 'Halliburton' Cheney? War crimes?
Not wacky enough...
This actually make me want to scream.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., surrounded by his jubilant leadership team on Capitol Hill, said Democrats will prove they can work with Republicans. "They've set a very bad example in not working with us," he said. "We're not following that example. We're reaching out to them."
What a bunch of disingenuous bull. They have opposed EVERYTHING to the last degree. Pelosi even was so bold as to say openly that was their plan. We would not have Alito or Roberts if the Gang of 14 had not broken their back and opted out of the fillibuster and nuclear option.
With that it is it is notable that of the 7 Republicans on the "gang" 2 were voted out, DeWine and Chaffee.
Now I find it absolutely insulting and absurd that Reid and Pelosi now are touting their ability to "reach out" to Republicans when all they have done is be obstructionist shrills for the last 4 years.
Impeachment is off the table because they are liars. They allowed it to be proposed, and fanned the flames to secure their far left base. Now that their mission is accomplished they will be kicked to the curb the same was Clinton did it to the gays.

The dems aren't talking about it right now. Pelosi playing all nice with Bush smiling; this after all her hate-filled rhetoric. They are too busy celebrating right now. Once they sit in those seats the entire scene will change. Investigations, Congressional hearings... all leading to one thing: Get Bush and Cheney out.

And who has been all nice and quiet until the time is right? Kennedy, Rangel, Boxer, Byrd, Clinton. '07 looms.
