Can you copy and paste from Adobe? I cannot seem to copy anything, although I was told that you must purchase the product in order to copy anything. Is this true?

You want to use adobe, yet you dont really want to spend money for it...
I notice also that your premo status has expired.

OR buy a copy of Adobe Acrobat.. That all depends on how much it costs. If it's out of a poor college students range then it's out of the question and I'll have to ask you hackers.
How much does something like Adobe cost?

You can probably get the "student version" cheap cheap.. $88.00
Take advantage of being a student while you can.. full office for less then $100 windows XP if not free probably $50..

in that case, it might could be out of range.
I think I paid a couple hundred or so for the full blown version.
Might have been less, it was a couple years ago, but still out of the poor college students range.

The ability to copy depends on the file. Some pdf's are set so that you can select/copy text and graphics. Some are scans, so you can't select text, but you can still copy graphics. Some files are set so that you can't copy anything (usually for copyright reasons). It all depends on the permissions that are set when the file is created. Although, I believe that there are hacks out there that can bypass the security...

Buddy, you can copy graphics from Adobe Reader 7. Use the Select tool to draw a rectangle around the graphic you want to copy. You can paste into MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
Here is a free alternative to Photoshop:

Windows XP pro = $10
Microsoft Office = $5

I'll have to go and check out what programs the college offers after I obtain a new computer without the hindrance of snail speed.

You still would have to deal with product activation for the versions that the school sells, right?
Anyways, if you still haven't bought Adobe Acrobat, you might want to check out CutePDF.

You can also use the snapshot tool. It looks like a camera on your toolbar.
Select the area you want copied and it places it on your clipboard.
