Do you have to get rights to hold tournaments that involve entrance fees?

No. Only for movies.

When a club in college wanted to host a "movie night" we weren't allowed to claim it as a club event or we would have to pay (usually) around a $500 rights fee. Instead during a club meeting we'd just said, "Hey FRIENDS I'm going to be watching "insert moviet title" at my house at 9pm and wanted to know if you wanted to come and bring some food."

Registration for the Madden 07 Playstation 2 tournament will begin at 10:00am Saturday Jan. 13th @ Chancellors Run Regional Park inside the Hall Of Fame Building.
