I just found out that my Mcafee spamkiller is not compatible with IE7. I was also further informed that Mcafee will NOT be ready for Windows Vista when it is released at the end of January, so your existing subscriptions will be all but useless if you upgrade to Vista prior to Mcafee catching up! I for one find this little bit of news to be a PITA!!! :banghead:

I wouldn't trust McAfee with anything. It slowed down my last computer so much that I didn't even bother with it on the new one.

I dumped McAfee after I got a few trojans that it would flag and report them being cleaned only to pop-up 2 seconds later for the same one. I had to go download 3rd party programs to get rid of them. :burning: I noticed the system slow down also. Switched to Norton last year and haven't looked back.

I get Mcafee free thru Verizon DSL, so I use it. I have, however, been looking at TrendMicro's security suite. They have never let me down in the past. I thought I would just share the news with everyone. I know I'm not the only one out there with Verizon DSL. :howdy:
