I'm not much of a rap fan, but every so often a rap song makes it way into my playlist.

Not that long ago, in fact, "Come Baby Come" by K7 was in my playlist.

Well, yeah... it's cool, I guess, but almost all of the songs sound identical at least the first few times I've listened to them. :bigwhoop:

Fall Out Boy works for running (short songs and they seem easy to run along with), what also works is: Rage Against the Machine and Rammstein (cool German band). You need to have some loud motivation when working out!

I'll have to check it out next time.

As far as the rap goes, I can do a little bit, maybe when I'm doing my cardio. I just think the heavy guitar, drums and screaming are better laid out for the "weight" training part of it.

Although totally off-topic, did your setup in your truck have all the neon and plexi-glass accessories and such? I always had an interest in that but never enough to do it to any vehicle I owned.

I just let my nano go.....but with 6G of music, I find myself hitting the skip button a lot.....

This thread has inspired me to come up with a playlist for my workout..it will be an hour of lifting music followed by an hour of cardio music. More to follow...

Lifting Playlist

Crossroads - A7X
We Still Fight- Hatebreed
Archetype - Fear Factory
The Devil's Own - Five Fingered Death Punch
What Drives the Weak - Shadows Fall
Sidewinder - A7X
Dead Skin Mask - Slayer
Fixation on the Darkness - Killswitch Engage
Chapter IV - A7X
Hatebreed - I Will Be Heard
Cradle of Filth - Mannequin
Pantera - Suicide Note Pt. 2
How the Gods Kill - Danizg

Cardio

Sigllium Diaboli - H.I.M.
Strength of the World - A7X
10's - Pantera
CrushCrushCrush - Paramore
Poison Girl - H.I.M.
Wicked End - A7X
Misfits - Hybrid Moments
You are the One - Shiny Toy Guns
Infra-Red - Placebo
Hysteria - Muse

Not sure if the times on those are right...but I think personally that is gonna be tough to beat.

Obviously my lifting and cardio music differs...When I'm on the Tmill or elliptical, my desire to kill is greatly reduced...ah ha ha
