I am moving to the Dorchestor ( I believe the spelling is correct) neighborhood in Waldorf soon and need some daycare suggestions. I have one 2 year old, a child in 2nd grade (Wade will be her school), and a another child in middle school (we were told he would be going to Sommers. I am looking for all day for the 2 yr old, before and after for the other 2.
Also can anyone tell me what the schools are like?
Thanks so much for everything.

Somers is excellent, since it is NOT in Waldorf but the others I am not sure.
Daycares in Waldorf are hard to find but I do suggest a "Christian" atmosphere.

Check out Kindercare. It's right down the block from you. They open at 6 and stay open until 6:30. They transport the kids that go to area schools to and from. I can't tell you if they have any openings, but you can give them a call and ask for Deanna or Carolynn (301-843-8485). I work there. You can PM me for more information.

Wade is one of the the best Elementary schools in the county, because of the Principal. Wade, year after year is 1st or 2nd on MSA scores in the County and is at the top of the state list.

As far as daycare, I would go with Good Shepard on the other side of 301 on Smallwood Dr. I don't know if they take 2 year olds.

Goddard Center near Wade seems ok also.
