Hey sadie, just saw the points today. I didn't realize you were riding Elvis in the Walk/Trot classes. How did it feel to take the ribbons away from those 9 & 10 year old riders? You're right if you're only taking Elvis we probably won't be competing against each other, I haven't done a walk/trot class since I was 10. :smack:

Elvis is "green" and has only shown in a few shows. There were over 40 in the Open W/T division. I highly doubt there were many 10 year olds in the class since they have a division for 11 & under WT. Isn't it interesting that you bash me for taking a "green" horse in W/T but you don't bash anyone else? Don't you think you might be offending others who merely show in W/T? Sorry to disappoint everyone but I ended up scratching the Green Hunter division as the footing was horrible. I did show in a few divisions towards the end of the day, came home with 2 reserves. However, I saw a lot of you guys. I saw Shady, Katie, Phyxius, Belle, and probably others but I don't know all of you as not everyone has posted pictures. :howdy:

You would scratch green yet enter the later divisions? Was your other horse better at handling the muck at the higher fence heights? The footing must have looked worse than it was. We didn't see any slipping, just a boat load of refusals.

Ring 1 wasn't that bad at the end of the day. They dragged it before the Green English Pleasure classes, and it was actually nice to ride in. No mud puddle right before the judge.

It is a schooling show. Greens go at 2'3". There are some very nice horse and rider combos there as well as some very new/very green combos. The one grey that had a few refusals was lovely! The rider straightened him out over later courses.

I wouldn't call it second rate, it allows for a wide range of abilities. Not everyone can ante up the money it takes to show rated even if they could be competitive. There's a large market for this caliber of riders. To some it doesn't make sense to pay the extra money to show at 2'6" at a rated show when the cost to show at a nice schooling series is so much more reasonable. Yes, you're going to see courses that are scary to watch but you'll also see some very polished rounds. Just depends!

Robin, I would suggest that you not e-mail anyone as you have no clue who we are and, in fact, you are so off base it isn't funny. You're going to end up getting someone who isn't a part of our group in trouble. Now this will be a problem for you. You're, obviously, speaking in specifics and they do not pertain to us at all. I think it is impetuous of “you” (and I use that word lightly) to try to ruin my reputation and slander my name by making accusations of affairs. 1. I have my own P.i.t.A. why would I want someone else’s? 2.Women are fun to hang out with sometimes, but I can’t get into all that “licky licky” stuff. :faint: Besides, I am married with two wonderful children who take up the vast majority of my time. My husband trusts me with all of his heart because I have never given him a reason not to trust me.
So I don’t hate or hold a grudge against “you”. Anyone can look up my posted threads and see that I have never used anyone’s name or barn affiliation in a derogatory way, and if I have please post it. Your "friends" should be careful because even if “you” are many people… the vindictive, spiteful side is definitely part of your true personality. Good luck.
