I am at work now. 3 miles south of home. Same time zone. Yet, every morning when I log in here it changes the DST settings and the post times are an hour off. Why?

Either A) your computer's off, or B) the settings on your forum account are incorrect.

Is your computer set to reflect DST?

Also, in your CP, make sure your account is set to automatically detect DST. But I'm almost sure it's your computer.

It is set to automatically detect DST. My computer tells me that it is 11:12 AM but somd tells me that it is 10:12 AM. Wierd, but I guess it doesn't matter. Just gets annoying when I do not reply to a post because I think that it is an hour old.

I did about a month back

I think i unchecked the automatic dst thing and it reverted to the correct time (dont think it was right away) and it was just on this computer here at work.

when the dst thing is checked i do get annoyed with the every time you click your user cp for the first time after you log in the DST box pops up and you get reverted back to the main forum page. I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not?

Mine doesn't do that  I have DST set and it only does that to me when I first log in after the time change.

According to my karma, it is because I am a fat whore.

DST Settings... 05-29-2007 10:41 AM If you're not fat, what is your rate?

I do not charge.
Oh but if you are asking my weight...:smack: You do not ask a woman how much she weighs. Especially if she is pregnant.

Its because the DST patch has not been installed on the computer and it will no reflect the proper time for some programs compared to what the system clock says. Go to MS and download the DST patch for your version of OS.

Bump and Thanks!

Is this only fix? My "DST Settings" have been updated so many times, I feel like a "Time Standard"...

TIA
