I've been using the google button since it was introduced and I LOVE it!
Since the upgrade, my button shows a drop-down list, but it never changes. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and it didn't fix anything. Any Help out there? :howdy:

If you use google's toolbar, you can put a quick link to SoMDOnline on it.
From the SoMDOnline home page, scroll down until you see EXPLORE on your left hand side. Click on search, the click on New Google Toolbar Button. A red and yellow square icon will show up on your google toolbar. Clicking on the arrow drops down a menu of the most recent posts in the forum.
Mine is stuck, has not refreshed since "Smoking is a turn-on for some genes" was first posted.
I need my button to work!!!:tantrum
please :blushing:

Mine refreshes several times a day.
So not sure what the problem is :frown: But I think it's awesome that you use our google toolbar!

The Google Button for MSIE is here:

Looks like mine was stuck too. I just deleted it and reinstalled it. I'll see if that fixes it or if the upgrade broke the button. Anyone else having problems not seeing new posts?

I increased the number of entries from 15 to 20 -- and it should refresh every 5 minutes.

Finally, if anyone's posts are `stuck,` try going to:
http://forums.somd.com/external.php?type=rss2
with your MSIE browser where the Google button is installed. Then press the reload button and make sure you are getting the latest posts. Within 5-mins, the drop-down list of new topics on your button should be current. If not, try removing and reinstalling the button. Instructions are on the other thread which is referenced above.

Hi David!
I can refresh my drop-down list by following this link, but it still won't refresh on it's own. Any more suggestions?

Same here. Ever since the forum upgrade mine isn't refreshing either. I tried refeshing from the site and the uninstall/reinstall thing. No luck.

I'm having the same problem myself. Will require more investigation. Seems like the page is being called from cache instead of generating live data. Might take a few days...standby...
