Why is it on many post I can only view up to maximum of 6 pages? As an example, on one post where I had not logged in yet there were 14 pages I could read but after logging in this same post only allowed me to read up to 6 pages.

Re-set your posts per page to 20. Our Wenchy and MMDad have discovered the fix.

top green bar do u see user cp... click that then edit options ...then go down until you see Thread Display Options set to default thats how mine is. hope it helped

Yep. Went to profile and as instructed changed thread display from default to 20. What happens now is instead of 6 pages avaliable I,m down to 3 so the number of threads has remained the same except each page contains more threads.
