When I was in the "ward" doctors ran sevral tests on me and they determined that aside from a few mild but non threatening mental disorders that I'm actually pretty normal.
I've been told that as long as take my medication daily than I should be able to live a normal life. I do take my medication regurlarly but do forget an occasional dose.
Try telling this top potential employers though. I tell them I did some time away and they immediately show me to the door. There's a stigma that goes along with being mentally ill and it's really not fair. Drugs therapy has come a very long way and those of us whpo take these drugs can be as productive as anyone else is.
